Thought leaders and authors
The Work of Byron Katie is a way of identifying and questioning the thoughts that cause all the fear, violence, depression, frustration, and suffering in the world. Experience the happiness of undoing those thoughts through The Work, and allow your mind to return to its true, awakened, peaceful, creative nature.
The Hendricks Institute is home page for relationship gurus, Gay and Katy Hendricks, PhD’s who wrote, “Conscious Loving” and dozens of other books on how to live a joyful purposeful life, and co-create conscious loving relationships. I attended over 60 hours of relationship coach training with Gay and Katie Hendricks and incorporate their principles into my coaching. My favorite relationship principle introduced by the Hendricks is called, “upper limits.” Gay wrote an entire book about this in The Big Leap. The website features lots of free stuff… short videos and inspiration.
The Gottman Institute is an excellent resource for research-based approach to relationships of all kinds. Spouse, parent, co-worker… there’s tons of easy to digest articles and graphics. Follow them on Facebook, too, for quick-hit tips.
Music with Conscious Messages
Jain Wells PhD, has several CD’s including a “beautified” meditation sound track, “Luminosity One.” I use it in my morning meditation when I’m craving beautiful sound instead of silence.
